PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM (PNP)

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate people who want to immigrate to Canada and want to live in a certain province. The Northern Canada territory of Nunanut and Quebec are the only exceptions. Instead, the province of Quebec has the ability to set its own economic immigration selection criteria.

Manitoba has been a huge immigration success story since then. Immigration has played a significant part in Manitoba's population, labour force, and economic growth, according to the Manitoba PNP.
