Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a PGWP, you must meet the following criteria:
- Completed a program of study at a designated learning institution (DLI)
- Studied full-time for at least 8 months
- Graduated from a program that was at least 8 months long
- Apply within 180 days of receiving written confirmation of program completion

PGWP Validity Period
The duration of your PGWP depends on the length of your study program:
- Less than 8 months: Not eligible for PGWP
- 8 months to less than 2 years: Same length as the study program
- 2 years or more: 3 years
